Outside liquor and alcohol is not permitted on Jefferson Performing Arts Center premises by any patron, performer, guest or employee. Alcoholic beverages may be purchased inside the venue. All persons must be age 21 or older and provide legal identification to purchase. The Jefferson Performing Arts Center & Messina's Catering has the right to refuse service and terminate service at their discretion at any time.

Large or over-sized bags are prohibited at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center. All persons and bags are subject to search at entry by uniformed security guards.

The following bags are allowed inside of the Jefferson Performing Arts Center and are subject to search:

• Bags that do not exceed size limit of 12" x 16" x 12"
• Equipment bag for necessary medical items.
• Diaper bag for age-appropriate children accompanied by an adult.

Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to, large purses, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, large mesh bags, or any bag larger than the permissible size.

Guests can wear or carry items such as binoculars, hand-held electronic devices and cameras (with lenses shorter than four inches) without carrying cases.

Professional cameras are prohibited at all events in the Jefferson Performing Arts Center unless accompanied by an appropriate media credential. Cameras containing lenses (not to exceed 4 inches in length) with no flashes may be allowed for some events. Video cameras and audio recorders are prohibited in the Jefferson Performing Arts Center unless specifically approved. 

Children under 2 years of age generally do not need a ticket provided the child sits in an adult's lap. However, age requirements for tickets are on a per-event basis. 

We have no set dress code policy, yet we reserve the right to deny entry for inappropriate attire.

Jefferson Performing Arts Center is conveniently located in Metairie, LA adjacent to the New Orleans Baby Cakes Baseball Stadium. We are 3 miles off of the interstate. Please visit our Directions & Parking page for detailed instructions and a map of the area.

Jefferson Performing Arts Center offers a designated drop-off and pick-up area outside of the front entrance in the half-circle driveway. Limousines, buses and cars are allowed to drop-off and pick-up in this area. Our lobby doors open one hour prior to the performance time unless otherwise specifically noted. We encourage guests to arrive early and enjoy a pre-show experience with friends and family, visit our concessions or explore views of Lasalle Park from the Terrace.

Elevators are available to our wheelchair and limited-mobility patrons. The Jefferson Performing Arts Center's public guest elevator is located on the far West side of the venue and is accessible on all floor levels.

The Jefferson Performing Arts Center is committed to providing the highest standard of safety for our visitors and employees. Emergency response procedures have been developed and implemented to address emergencies or crises arising at the venue or surrounding areas which may affect venue operation.

Please ask an usher when you arrive. Due to the Jefferson Performing Arts Center's wide array of programming, all time durations and intermissions are subject to change at the discretion of the event or artist management.

The Jefferson Performing Arts Center is committed to providing an enjoyable family atmosphere. Guests causing a public disturbance, using obscene language or whom appear intoxicated will be escorted out of the venue. Guests wearing indecent clothing will be denied entry. Noisemakers of any type are prohibited. Weapons of any type are prohibited.

Guests observed violating facility policy will be subject to immediate ejection from the venue/premises. Guests observed breaking the law while inside the venue or on the venue's premises will be subject to immediate ejection from the venue/premises and/or criminal prosecution.

If you lose an item during an event, please find the nearest Jefferson Performing Arts Center staff member for assistance. Found items should be turned in to any Jefferson Performing Arts Center staff member on site. Any items not claimed within 30 days will be discarded.

To inquire about a lost item, please contact us with the following information to better assist in locating your lost or misplaced items:

• Contact First & Last Name
• Contact Phone Number
• Contact Email Address
• Detailed description of the item lost
• Name of the event attended where item was misplaced/lost
• Date the item is believed to have been misplaced
• Specific location inside of the venue that you believe the item was misplaced (theater seat number, men's/women's restroom, concession area, dressing room number, etc.)

Restrooms are located on the first and second floor lobby on the West side of the building for your convenience. All restrooms meet or exceed ADA specifications. Please visit our accessibility page for more info.

Cigarettes, E-cigarettes and smoking or vaporizing of any kind is prohibited inside of the venue and on Jefferson Performing Arts Center premises / immediate surrounding areas. 

For your convenience, water fountains are located outside of the restroom areas on the first and second floors of the venue.

Guests who choose the Will Call ticketing option at point of purchase as well as notified contest winners can visit the Jefferson Performing Arts Center Box Office to pick up their tickets one hour prior to event on said event day. 

PLEASE BE AWARE

• No one will be given tickets designated for another person.
• Proper photo identification is required, preferably a valid driver's license and purchasing credit card, if applicable.
• A signature from the person authorized to pick up the tickets is required at the time of the pickup.
